Sell-Side Solution Specialist – March 2019

The Solution Specialist is platform/client advisor role to enable TOTAL’s clients to optimize their technology investments. Responsible for driving fast and sustainable growth in TOTAL’s Sellside products (GAM 360, GAM) and services.

The overall role can be summarized (but not limited) to the below:

Solution Definition: Interact with clients’ various stakeholders to interpret and evaluate business objectives, requirements, and propose technology solutions using GAM (360). Support the requirements gathering and design of solution/technical specification to solve a customer’s needs.

Solution Delivery: Deliver training to clients, establish and communicate best practices, ensure clients understand the full platfom and features and are using the technology in an optimal way for their business.

Platform and Industry Expert: Be the subject matter expert (SME) for GAM (360) and all things publisher within the industry, whether that be additional monetization channels, new publishing trends, CMS’s etc. These developments should be communicated back to TOTAL for internal education and used to drive value with TOTAL’s clients.

Technical and Consultative Sales Expertise: Partner with Sales and Account Managers to give demonstrations, assist on RFP responses, and provide technical know-how and expertise. Assist in proactively identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities within the pipeline and existing client base.

Identify Upsell or New Market Opportunities: Identify and drive with Sales upsell opportunities for new features, functionality or Service engagements. Partner with account management teams to drive product adoption. Gather market trends and intelligence for platform extension, APIs integrations.

Solution Specialists can potentially be involved with additional projects and initiatives depending on her/his special skills and interests, and organizational requirements. These projects may come from TOTAL’s clients or they may be internal TOTAL projects.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience with Sellside Advertising technologies (intimate knowledge of following TLA’s: SSP, DMP, RTB, BLT).
  • 3+ years of experience in platform management, media management or campaign management.
  • 2+ years experience with GAM (DFP)
  • Experience rolling out GAM onto new sites/Apps
  • Well versed with all features of GAM360: Inventory Management, Audience, Video
  • Understands how publishers think and behave
  • Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS, JS

AdOps Team Lead (Publisher) – March 2019

DESCRIPTION:

The AdOps Team Lead role sits at the top of TOTAL’s cross platform Ad Ops teacross-platform focused on onboarding all of our direct publishers with TOTAL’s video advertising solutions; InStream, Out-Stream and Player. As the team lead, you will be owning the processes of onboarding our publishers, managing the team of AdOps and Policy specialists and setting and maintaining best practices. You will also be the point of escalation for AdOps and publisher onboarding issues.

The role will work very closely with the Publisher Account Managers, the Yield Managers and of course the Ad Ops team.

Main Responsibilities

Management:

  • Day to day running of the team
  • Educating the team in both GAM, Ops Skills and Troubleshooting Methodologies
  • Coordinate team members to prioritize daily workloads along with onboarding SLAs

Ops:

  • Owning the Publisher policy and on-boarding processes, routinely reviewing, optimizing an updating processes and rolling them out across the team.
  • Troubleshooting ops issues and reporting back to the business with the assistance of the technical support team
  • Share expertise and advise teams and publishers on best practices and new offerings.

Processes:

  • Owning and optimizing the process for efficiently onboarding publishers and smoothly transitioning them to AMs and all internal processes as needed

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:  

  • 2+ years of experience in Publisher AdOps
  • Experienced in GAM (DFP)
  • Experienced in Video AdOps (OutStream, InStream, PubDirect).
  • Experienced in Video Ad servers and SSP’s -LKQD, Cedato, Aniview, AOL, Beachfront.
  • Understanding of HTML5, JS, VAST
  • Experience as a team lead
  • Experience in managing processes

Responsibilities of the Technical Training Manager:

  • Developing and owning technical training materials and syllabuses for various levels (beginners and intermediate)
  • Onboarding all clients on to the platform effectively and scaling up their use of the platforms
  • Coordinating product-related trainings, including presenting new features and simulating activities in a demo enviorment
  • Liaise with industry experts and organize workshops and classroom-style trainings. Trainings may often be delivered remotely accordding to needs.
  • Ensuring all internal teams have the relevant product in training and knowledge to succeed.
